Generative Creative Visions Workshops Facilitated by the FlowCreate collaborative AI platform, these events aim to foster innovative ideas and prototype new projects. Each workshop will have two specific themes:Workshop 1, 25th February 10:00-13:00 (+ lunch 13:00-14:00)1. AI Applications in Creative Media2. Human-AI Interaction and Creative ProcessesWorkshop 2, 25th February 13:00-17:00 (lunch included)3. Creativity, Ethics, and Human-Centric Design4. AI in Creative EducationDuring these sessions, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with a group of colleagues from different disciplines to generate ideas and prototypes for scoping projects around these themes. After the workshops, groups will be invited to submit a short proposal for the idea they want to develop. The 4 selected groups will be assigned a budget of £1,500.00 each to develop their ideas between March and June 2025.Lunch will be provided at the start of the workshops.To ensure the workshops are tailored to the needs and interests of attendees, participants are required to fill out a short form when registering their interest. Please note that the number of attendees is limited, and registration does not guarantee participation. You will be notified if your registration is confirmed by the 21st February 2025.The workshops are supported by the Seed Fund of the Generative AI Laboratory (GAIL) of the University of Edinburgh and organised in collaboration with the EFI research cluster on “Creativity, AI, and the Human”.The workshops will be chaired by Dr Caterina Moruzzi and Dr Shama Rahman.
